How it works
The counters differ in two ways: who names the price, and when you pay it. Everything else — the code, the collection — is the same.
Groceries
Two ways, depending on the shop.
Shops that have priced their shelves you buy from directly. Shops that have not will price your list by hand — the older way, and still the right one for loose rice, fresh vegetables and anything sold by weight. The app shows which you are in before you pay.
Priced shops: add to the bag and pay
Prices are the shop’s own. You pay the total at checkout and there is nothing left to settle at the counter.
Unpriced shops: write your list, however you write lists
Type it, or paste a message you already sent. If a brand or size matters, add a note to that line. We show which nearby shops have most of what you asked for.
Unpriced shops: pay the booking amount
A flat ₹50, never more than the order itself, and it comes off your total.
Unpriced shops: they price it, you see the total
Anything unavailable is struck through. Cancelling after a shop has accepted is subject to the refund policy.
Forgotten something? Add it after paying
For a few minutes after you pay, your list has not gone to the shop yet. Add anything else and it joins the same order — no second payment, no second trip.
Collect with a four-digit code, or have it brought
Show the code at the counter, or have it delivered for a flat ₹15 within 5 km. Anyone can collect for you.
Cakes
Priced before you pay.
Choose the cake
Flavour, shape, weight, tier, cream and the message on top.
Add a photo, if it is a photo cake
Only your baker sees it, and we delete it after seven days.
Pay the booking amount
₹100 for a cake, capped at the order value. The balance is paid at the counter.
Collect on the day
Cakes need notice, so an order carries a ready-by date rather than a clock time.
Food
Paid in full, cooked to order.
Pick from a kitchen’s menu
Every dish is marked veg, egg or non-veg. Some kitchens set a minimum order — you see it before you start.
Pay the menu price
No booking amount and no balance at the counter. A kitchen’s menu states the price, so that is what you pay.
Collect with your code
The same four-digit code as everything else.
A bag holds one kind of prepared food at a time — a bakery order or a kitchen order, not both. Groceries can ride along with either.
Money
What you pay, and to whom.
We never mark up the shop
Goods cost what the shop charges. No surge, no busy-time premium. Our only charge is ₹5 an order.
A balance, if there is one, goes to the shop
Priced shops and kitchens are paid in full at checkout — nothing to bring. Where a shop prices your list, the rest is paid at the counter and never passes through us.
Cancelling
Free until a shop accepts. After that 10% of what you paid is retained, capped at ₹150 and never more than you actually paid.
